Founder of the international law firm Rodrieg & Alliance, Mark Rodrieg is our US partner. He has practiced law at major international law firms in New York, Miami, and Mexico City and then worked for many years in Europe, both as a lawyer and as a General Counsel, notably for the Lagardère Groupe, one of France’s largest companies.
Mark is a member of the Florida bar.

The foregoing approach is reflected in Mark’s work as a lawyer as well as in his other pursuits, notably his artistic and sporting endeavors.
A serious music aficionado, prior to becoming a lawyer Mark was Principal Flutist of the Aspen Festival Orchestra and now continues this work as a chamber-music artist. He is currently a recording artist for the record labels Solo Musica (Germany) and Naxos.
As a Member of the USA Fencing Team from 2007 to 2011, Mark represented the United States in numerous World Cup Competitions during this period.
Mark was also a U.S. Naval Officer. First in his class of Naval Officer Candidates, that distinction contributed to him being named a Presidential Fellow at Princeton.

Mark began his legal career in Mexico City as an associate with Goodrich, Riquelme Y Asociados, the Lex Mundi member law firm for Mexico. Mark then joined the International Practice Group at the Wall Street firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, where he split his schedule between the New York and Miami offices.
Following his tenure with Hughes Hubbard, Mark began dividing his time between Paris and Toronto as General Counsel for DocSpace/Critical Path (NASDAQ: CPTH). Mark was then based in Paris as the Deputy General Counsel – International for one of France’s leading companies, the Lagardère Groupe, which has operating divisions in media, aeronautics, space and defence. At Lagardère, Mark was responsible for the legal aspects of transactions and disputes in well over a dozen countries, including Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Following his tenure with Lagardère, Mark became General Counsel for A-Live Holdings, a Toronto-based venture capital firm that specializes in the technology sector. At A-Live Holdings, in addition to corporate development responsibilities in Europe, Mark was responsible for the legal affairs of the firm and its portfolio companies in the information technology and renewable energy sectors.
Since his tenure with A-Live Holdings, Mark founded Rodrieg & Alliance, which has provided international transactional and arbitration advisory services to a range of clients, principally in a cross-border settings, from offices is Paris, Miami, and Houston. Mark and his firm partner with leading boutique international law firms such as Ranger Rayer Challamel in Paris.
